India’s homegrown OTT platform, ALTBalaji, recently celebrated its third anniversary and success in the online video on demand industry. With more than 60 original shows to its name, the channel has an extensive content library in diverse genres. Nachiket Pantvaidya: We are in a good position to give out 1-2 shows per month
Nachiket Pantvaidya is the CEO of ALTBalaji OTT platform and the group COO of Balaji Telefilms. Recently in an interview with Indiantelevision.com, he spoke about the current scenario and ALTBalaji’s production plans during the lockdown. He shared that ALTBalaji is on track in terms of launching web series in the upcoming months. Nachiket Pantvaidya added that the OTT platform has 10-12 shows in the pipeline which only requires post-production and editing that can be completed from home during this lockdown. He further added that the channel can easily release 11-12 shows in the next 6-7 months if the lockdown continues.
When asked about the OTT platform’s plan amidst Covid-19, Nachiket Pantvaidya replied saying, “We are in a good position to give out one or two shows per month for the next five to six months.” He added that web series like Baarish Season 2 and Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai Season 3 will soon be launched for the viewers.
Recently Baarish Season 2 starring Asha Negi and Sharman Joshi was released on ALTBalaji which earned a lot of popularity online. The third season of Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai is very much awaited by the audience and soon will be available for streaming on the OTT platform.
