His upcoming role will most definitely leave a shiver down your spine. The actor is all set to play the role of a badass don, Abhay Angre, Shashank Angre ka beta in the Cartel web series. Recently, ALTBalaji took to Instagram to announce Rithvik’s lead role in upcoming web series Cartel with the caption, “ There are rules. There are rulebreakers. And then there is Abhay Angre.

About Rithvik’s character in Cartel
Yeh hai toh king of good times, zaroor. Par iska bus naam sunke hi sabki rooh kaap uthti hai. This handsome baddie, Abhay Angre, played by Rithvik Dhanjani in the Cartel web series happens to be Rani Mai’s (Supriya Pathak) fearless son. He is the man who can take anybody down (whenever he is pissed). Well, what can we say? Everybody (including us) thinks twice before messing with Abhay. You’ll see!
Speaking of his character, Rithvik Dhanjani said to Spot Boye, “When I read the story, the world of Cartel, the world of Angre looked so beautiful and unanimous, that it automatically took me in that enigmatic feeling. And, my character of Abhay Aangre is nowhere close to me and it has so many shades to it. So, it was a huge challenge thrown at me. So, I said to myself I had to take this up.”
