Talking to IWM Buzz about his character, Yudhveer, Sumeet Vyas candidly replied, “I am really excited for this project after my stint on The Verdict: State vs Nanavati. Also, I’m thankful to team ALTBalaji for always considering me for roles that are rather unorthodox. It’s every actor’s dream to make a mould and break it. In my case, I’m grateful to Ekta Kapoor for always stepping in to help me achieve it every time I’ve struggled with it. My character in this is royal, carefree and has different shades attached to it.  It’s a challenging character to portray as it is very different one from the roles that I have played previously. I hope the audiences will love my character and continue to shower their love on me as they have been doing always.”

About Anshul’s character in Bicchoo Ka Khel

Ab Akhil jaise khiladi ko koi apne ishaaro par nacha paega toh vo thi sirf ek ladki- Rashmi. Aisi hai ye humari Rashmi jo kaafi bindaas hai, boss! But what is her role in Akhil’s life? Who was she? What is she doing? Well, Rashmi was Akhil’s heart. Pyaar karti thi usse vo. Ye shaadi vaadi ke chakkar mein unka special sa jo rishta tha usko chaupat nahi karna chahati thi! (aww).

Like every independent woman, Rashmi too has her goals! An ambitious young woman- Rashmi- a lawyer by profession- looking for a headstrong man to secure her future (you go, girl). With her heart and mind set in the right direction, she is a new-age woman who believes in living life on her terms. Baki koi kuch bhi kahe, kya hi farak padta hai?

Speaking of her strong character, Rashmi, Anshul Chauhan said to Telly Chakkar, “I’m very excited, to say the least. It’s an ALTBalaji show. Secondly, the web series being a crime-thriller was a genre that I found truly fascinating and always wanted to do. What’s more, my role is one that I’ve never done before. Playing a lawyer is something completely different from my previous characters. That, along with the script, allowed me to develop and improve my acting skills immensely. It was so much fun to shoot for the series whose story has a lot of twists and turns. I am extremely overwhelmed to work with such a talented cast and my co-star Divyenndu and my director Ashish Shukla who has been a mentor throughout. I hope the audiences enjoy and shower love to my character and the series.”

Angad Bedi to Star as Encounter Specialist in ALTBalaji’s next

A fiery police character is appreciated by each and every one. Well, if a strong role of a cop fascinates you, you are in sheer luck. You know why? ALTBalaji is all set to introduce its hottest face of the season, Angad Bedi in the avatar of an encounter specialist on its newest web series, Mum Bhai.

ALTBalaji confirmed the news on Instagram in one of their recent posts. They shared a picture of the lead actor, Angad Bedi in his character and captioned, “Jisse poore Bombay ka cleanup karne ki thaani thi, jis se dehshat khata tha underworld, yeh tha Bhaskar Shetty aur 1996 uska waqt tha! 83 encounters kiye usne aur ab aa raha hai woh #MumBhai ki kahani lekar on #ALTBalaji.

About Angad’s character

Set to essay an encounter specialist, Angad Bedi seems elated to be a part of ALTBalaji’s new web series. And why shouldn’t he even be? He has every reason to be thrilled (just like us!) to play such a strong role that is set amidst the 90s that revolves around the buzzing streets of Mumbai. The crime web series, Mum Bhai literally takes you back in time when extortion, drugs, murders, and kidnappings were the orders of the day.

Speaking of his role, Angad Bedi was quoted saying, “I have played an Army [officer] in Tiger Zinda Hai [2017] and the upcoming Kargil Girl. But playing a cop is new to me.” He further added, “This is the first time I am playing the role of a cop for a project, and it’s a whole new world which I’m looking forward to dwelling into.” Well, all we can say is that we are immensely proud of you, Angad and can’t wait to see you dazzle on-screen, no?

ALTBalaji gives you a full look of his role in the latest video that they shared on their Instagram handle. They captioned, “ “Isko 90s ka Mumbai jaanta bhi tha, aur sara underworld pehchanta bhi tha! Yeh aa raha hai aap se milne, aur aapko dikhane #MumBhai ka swag, show streaming on 6th Nov, on #ALTBalaji! Trailer releasing on 19th Oct!” What’s interesting to watch in the video is how effortlessly Angad manages to pull off his character with so much ease (and pistols, of course). Well, believe us when we say, it wasn’t as easy as it looked. It took hours of practise and training sessions for him!

He confirmed to Midday saying, “I had undergone some training in rifle shooting when I filmed Tiger Zinda Hai. But, this show is set in the ’90s, and hence, the kind of guns we’ve used belong to that era. The pistols are different from those that are currently used. A lot of Bhaskar’s personality is reflected in the action sequences, which is why the use of the gun had to look flawless. I have learnt how to hold and operate it. The action directors have been taking me through each sequence, showing me precisely how to approach the target, and maintain the right posture to shoot.” Watch his behind the scenes snapshots from Mum Bhai web series.
