Bhujangraj, a mystic figure, serpent king, marries a village lady on every Amavasya, and that woman is known as the Naag Vadhu, and after that the same women has to live in Bhujangraj’s place.

Hence, any man who consummates with Naag Vadhu dies instantly. These women after their consummation with Bhujangraj lives in a separate area of the village, where no one is allowed. What they do? How they live and who takes care – nobody knows.

ALTT Lock upp show Finale Highlights

Lock Upp, a unique reality show from the house of ALTBalaji, hosted by Kangana Ranaut, has finally come to an end. The show gained 500 M + views by the end of the show, and by this, it even set a new record for other reality shows in the OTT segment. Starting back in February 2022, ALTBalaji’s famous, Lock Upp Season 1 hogged a lot of limelight and even made headlines, on most days.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the reality show Lock up featured several controversial personalities such as Munawar Faruqui, Payal Rohatgi, Sara Khan, Poonam Pandey, and more.

What was unique about the show was that all contestants had to let go of their convenience and luxury and live in a jail sort of a setup. And the iconic Kangana Ranaut held the show together. In fact, this was Kangana’s first digital debut and she proved that she’s the real queen when it comes to entertainment.

Every day, these inmates had to face new challenges, and at the end of the week, one participant was eliminated. However, the ones who constantly were under the spotlight were the top 3 finalists of the show – Munawar, Payal, and Anjali.

And the winner is…

On Saturday, Munawar Faruqui became the winner of Lock Upp Season 1. He received over 18 lakh votes from his fans. That’s huge, isn’t it? Well, the fans love him so much that he was trending on Twitter, every single day, during his stay in the jail.

During the show, he opened up and spilled a lot of secrets about his family, got emotional about the financial crisis, and even fought to win the tasks. His authenticity and witty behavior won the audience’s heart.

Munawar walks away with…

Munawar’s hard work and sincerity have finally paid off. Winning the show has changed Munawar’s life completely. He not only bagged the glorious Lock Upp winner trophy but has also won Rs. 20 lakhs cash prize. That’s not all, he also got a Maruti Ertiga car and a trip to Italy.

During the finale, all the ex-contestants were also present. Sara Khan and others danced to several songs to entertain the audience. And Munawar did what he does the best – comedy. He roasted a few of the contestants, leaving everyone laughing.

Karan Kundrra was the jailor and Tejasswi Prakash was the warden on the show, the audience loved their chemistry. The couple also danced together in the finale.

Even the glamorous diva, Kangana, shook a leg on one of her songs. So, it won’t be wrong to say that the Lock Upp show finale was equally entertaining and gave it a deserving closure.
