About the plot

Here’s a little secret: Nothing good ever comes easy. So, the best thing to do here is never give up. And hey, sooner or later, Manav realised the same and continued fighting to save his relationship with Archana! 

The upcoming ALTBalaji drama titled Pavitra Rishta 2 is a tale of a beautiful couple. Archana and Manav are two simpletons who share similar family values and beliefs. We have given it our all. It was an honest effort from my side. When I see that onscreen I can feel that a little. I don’t know what people think of it. From my end, it was an honest approach. It was ‘work’ for me, and I would never say no to work. I am an actor at the end of the day. If I had not done it somebody else would have picked it up. I felt it was a good character and I wanted to do justice to it, and so, I gave it my all.”

Iski khushiyon ka raaz tha bada simple (bus uss ke tarah). Ye aur kuch nahi bus apne maa ke chehrein ki muskaan aur baki gharwalo ka sukh dekhna pasand karta tha. This middle-class young bloke from the Pavitra Rishta 2 serial sacrifices his whole life for his family. To say the least, he prioritises their happiness over his! 

Speaking of his character with Bollywood Life, Sheikh said, “Manav, I think is one of the purest and earnest characters that I have ever played till date. It inspires you to be this good person and it makes you believe that in today’s generation also such people do exist,”

He further added, “From my end, it was an honest approach. It was ‘work’ for me, and I would never say no to work. I am an actor at the end of the day. If I had not done it somebody else would have picked it up. I felt it was a good character and I wanted to do justice to it, and so, I gave it my all.”

About Rithvik’s character in Cartel

Yeh hai toh king of good times, zaroor. Par iska bus naam sunke hi sabki rooh kaap uthti hai. This handsome baddie, Abhay Angre, played by Rithvik Dhanjani in the Cartel web series happens to be Rani Mai’s (Supriya Pathak) fearless son. He is the man who can take anybody down (whenever he is pissed). Well, what can we say? Everybody (including us) thinks twice before messing with Abhay. You’ll see!

Speaking of his character, Rithvik Dhanjani said to Spot Boye, “When I read the story, the world of Cartel, the world of Angre looked so beautiful and unanimous, that it automatically took me in that enigmatic feeling. And, my character of Abhay Aangre is nowhere close to me and it has so many shades to it. So, it was a huge challenge thrown at me. So, I said to myself I had to take this up.”
