Lock Upp, a unique reality show from the house of ALTBalaji, hosted by Kangana Ranaut, has finally come to an end. On Saturday, Munawar Faruqui became the winner of Lock Upp Season 1. He received over 18 lakh votes from his fans. That’s huge, isn’t it? Well, the fans love him so much that he was trending on Twitter, every single day, during his stay in the jail.
During the show, he opened up and spilled a lot of secrets about his family, got emotional about the financial crisis, and even fought to win the tasks. His authenticity and witty behavior won the audience’s heart.

Munawar’s hard work and sincerity have finally paid off. Winning the show has changed Munawar’s life completely. He not only bagged the glorious Lock Upp winner trophy but has also won Rs. 20 lakhs cash prize. That’s not all, he also got a Maruti Ertiga car and a trip to Italy.
During the finale, all the ex-contestants were also present. Sara Khan and others danced to several songs to entertain the audience. And Munawar did what he does the best – comedy. He roasted a few of the contestants, leaving everyone laughing.
Karan Kundrra was the jailor and Tejasswi Prakash was the warden on the show, the audience loved their chemistry. The couple also danced together in the finale.
Even the glamorous diva, Kangana, shook a leg on one of her songs. So, it won’t be wrong to say that the Lock Upp show finale was equally entertaining and gave it a deserving closure.
